Hinomaru Transportation Co. was found in 1991, when the parent company Hinomaru Limousine Co., a company with history and tradition founded in 1950, made an independent taxi department. Currently our 4 offices own 607 vehicles and have approximately 2,000 employees (as of 2010). We have earned a reputation as a leading taxi company in the metropolitan area.

- Hinomaru Jidosha Co. was founded (June 13th, 1950) with a capital of 5,000,000 JPY and 10 taxi units.
- 1957
- Start of a driving school business.
- 1960
- Start of a taxi department.
- 1963
- Start of a bus department.
- 1968
- Start of Suns Fujikawa Restaurant and Suns Omori.
- 1991
- A spin-out of the taxi department to start off a new, independent company, Hinomaru Kotsu Co. (August 1991)
- 1997
- 'Starting fare (340 JPY)' in effect.
- 2001
- Installed a car navigation system to all vehicles, introduced the MAP Card service.

- Installation of CTI System to our call center.
